Penang CM Lays Foundation Stone for Han Chiang Primary School New Building


Penang Chief Minister YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow was invited to officiate the foundation stone-laying ceremony of SJK © Han Chiang on 10 April 2021. The Chief Minister also witnessed the Contract Award Signing between Han Chiang School Board represented by the Board Chairman, Datuk Seri Ooi Soo Hing and the contractor, JVG Bina Sdn Bhd.

This new four-storey building siting on a half-acre land will be equipped with 22 classrooms and a covered basketball court.  The project costs RM6.5 Million and is expected to complete by November this year.  With this new building, eventually the school will be able to run on ‘One-Session’ system instead of morning and afternoon class.

Unitech has been entrusted by the Han Chiang School Board as a member of the Consultant Team for the provision of professional quantity surveying and cost management services. We are proud to contribute to this public educational facility as yet another CSR project.
