Gamuda Cove Discovery Park, designed as the next tourism and entertainment hub in South Klang Valley will offer thrills, fun, spectacular sights and nature through three recreational zones - The Adventure Park, Hangout Village and Sports Park, to offer leisure, shopping, wellness and entertainment experiences for the visitors. The Discovery Park occupies 50 arces in the Gamuda Cove Township.
The Adventure Park is the vantage point for thrill seekers to enjoy the lush greenery of the adjacent Paya Indah Wetlands and Kuala Langat forest reserves through various adventure options. Various adventure options included Malaysia’s first tethered hot air balloon operated by AKA Balloon, indoor go-karting Blastacars Drift Karts, mountain bike or all-terrain vehicle (ATV) riding and Caravan Serai’s outdoor glamping.
The Hangout Village is a thriving social hub that offers a variety of food and beverage (F&B) and unique leisure experience from shopping, dining to chilling out. The crown jewel of Discovery Park - Cove Aerobar, a revolutionary concept of “foodtainment” was introduced by Aerophile Group from France where visitors can enjoy drinks at a 35m high flying bar in the sky. ArcHive Food Hall is a perfect place for dining and hangout because it offers a dining experience like no other, serving dishes with local and international flavours. Besides, Barsa Pool Club also become one of the attraction point because it is Malaysia’s first diving pool and largest salt water pool, where all ages can enjoy pool-surfing on a daybed, diving and drinking in a suburban setting during day time. At night, it will be a club for drinking and partying. Others components in the section include The Hive - creative market and the Kitchen Mafia by celebrity chef Sherson Lian and award-winning chef Johnny Fua.
While the Sports Park will house international standard sports facilities including an Olympic length swimming pool, badminton and football academy, a golf driving range that suitable for all ages and levels of players and a wellness centre. There will also be experiential cycling and walking trails which offers picturesque views of the surrounding nature.
Gamuda Cove Discovery Park is scheduled for partial opening in 2019 with its Adventure Park and Hangout Village and full opening with all zones in 2020. Next in the pipeline for Gamuda Cove is the water theme park to open by 2022 which will complement the Discovery Park.
