With this acquisition, the group will be able to bring, for the first time, synergies for their two core business – Paramount Properties for property development and KDU Education Group for education business.

Out of the total 30 acres of land, about 10 acres will be allocated for the development KDU University College which will be completed within the next five years.

An integrated development, a township anchored by educational institutions, is planned on the remaining 20 acres of land and will be completed in the next 10 years.

KDU University College will feature a green campus with a comprehensive range of academic, sports and recreational facilities to create live-and-learn as well as work-and-play environments to stimulate and promote learning.

KDU expects student enrolments in Batu Kawan campus to be doubled from the existing 2,500 students in KDU Penang within the next eight years. The proposed university metropolis would mirror the Paramount Utropolis in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, which was launched in 2013.

We are delighted to announce that Paramount Corporation Berhad has commissioned Unitech as the Consulting Quantity Surveyor providing full quantity surveying and cost management services for this green educational facility.
