Aman Central – The Largest Shopping Mall in Kedah

Aman Central, an upcoming premier lifestyle, entertainment and retail mall in Alor Setar, is setting its way to become the city's newest attraction. The eight-storey mall would be a new landmark for the city and the state of Kedah.

Aman Central will be the largest shopping mall in Alor Setar, Kedah centrally situated within the city. The project sits on a 2.84 ha piece of land on the busy Lebuhraya Darulaman opposite the Alor Setar Tower. A shopping haven with 6 floors of retail therapy consisting of the latest offerings in fashion, beauty, entertainment, food & beverage, cinema, bowling alley and gymnasium all conveniently located within on place.

With an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM500 million, the mall is part of three major development projects, including an upcoming five-star hotel and the recently launched Amansuri Residences.

Datuk Sonny Ho, Managing Director of Belleview Group, which develops the project was quoted saying "Aman Central will have a supermarket, a major department store spread over four levels, a branded fashion retail, food and beverage outlets, a 36-lane bowling alley and eight cineplexes."

He added that the covered car park extends to accommodate 1,800 vehicles on the lower ground and upper floors of the mall.

"The projects will be similar to Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur and Orchard Road in Singapore. The projects will also be a milestone for development advancement in Kedah with the vision to accelerate economic growth and create a beautiful skyline for the city."
